Winery history Champagne Jacques Rousseaux

A family of winemakers with documented roots in Verzenay. In the 20th century Paul Rousseaux began marketing his own bottles; the family tradition continued with his children, and today the estate is run by the Rousseaux family, with members of the younger generation actively involved.

Production philosophy

An approach focused on enhancing Pinot Noir and on the traditional production of Champagne: alongside classic cellar practices, emphasis is placed on parcel blends and on expressing the terroir. The structure is also linked to agricultural practices with environmental recognitions recorded in the registers of the vigneron independants.
