Winery Domaine Laroche

The estate is closely tied to the history of Chablis: the cellars of the Obédiencerie, with medieval origins, are where the house’s cuvées are aged. The Laroche family has long been active in Chablis; the house is commonly cited as having been founded in the mid-19th century and has grown to become one of the largest owners of crus in the area.

The approach aims to express the purity and minerality typical of the Chablis terroir, employing winemaking techniques that safeguard the fruit's aroma and each vineyard's identity; fermentations and ageing are carefully managed to preserve freshness and precision.

The vineyards are spread throughout the Chablis region, on Kimmeridgian marl soils and along the Serein River. Production ranges from entry-level wines to the Premier Cru and Grand Cru typical of the appellation.
