Winery Ronco Severo

The estate was established as a family farm in the years following World War II and gradually shifted its focus to viticulture. Current management is overseen by Stefano Novello, who has reoriented production toward artisanal wines tied to the Colli Orientali del Friuli.

Low-intervention production with careful attention to the soil and manual work: hand-harvested grapes, respect for the local 'ponca', and non-interventionist cellar practices to produce wines expressive of the terroir.

Based in Prepotto in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area; vineyards are planted on soils characterized by local arenaceous marls known as "ponca" and on hillside exposures.
