Winery history Tasca d'Almerita

The family’s history at Regaleali began in 1830, when brothers Lucio and Carmelo Mastrogiovanni Tasca purchased the estate. The family’s winemaking tradition now spans eight generations.

Production philosophy

The agricultural and winemaking project seeks to bring out the character of Sicily’s territories and the grape varieties best suited to each, with a focus on sustainability and safeguarding ecosystems.

Terroir and vineyards

The historic Regaleali estate lies in the heart of Sicily. The other estates are Capofaro on Salina, Tascante on Mount Etna, Whitaker on Mozia, and Sallier de La Tour in Monreale.
