The story
Founded in 1996 by the Mancini family; the estate is located in the upper Bidente valley and has specialized in producing Sangiovese di Romagna.
Production philosophy
Low-yield viticulture with manual grape selection; fermentation in steel, malolactic in wood, aging in casks and barriques; some labels are certified organic.
Terroir and vineyards
Located on the sandy (arenaceous) hills of Galeata and Civitella di Romagna (upper Bidente valley), between 300 and 500 m elevation (production zone c. 400 m). Calcareous-clay soils; ventilated climate with high diurnal temperature range.
