Winery history TRADITA Winery

The Kastrati family's winemaking tradition in the Rahovec region spans generations. To consolidate their viticultural work, the family built their own winery and, starting in 2012, began marketing wines under the TRADITA label, showcasing local grape varieties and passed-down knowledge.

Production philosophy

Family-scale production with a focus on quality: hand-harvesting, careful grape selection, limited yields and attention to vineyard biodiversity. Declared practices aimed at reducing the use of systemic pesticides; winemaking at controlled temperatures using natural yeasts and aging in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in the Rahovec area of Kosovo, on sandy-calcareous soils with marl and a fossil layer. Vines are planted at elevations between 350 and 500 metres, in an area that enjoys over 270 days of sunshine a year.
