Production method

Alexander grappas are produced by discontinuous distillation in copper stills, with multiple phases/temperatures to preserve aromas; some descriptions also report the use of vacuum distillation and bain-marie heating. Young grappas are generally rested in stainless-steel tanks before bottling; aged expressions undergo wood maturation depending on the specific reference.
