Producer history Bordiga

The distillery was founded in 1888 in Cuneo by Pietro Bordiga, who developed an original recipe for Vermouth di Torino. Over time the company expanded its range to include amari, alpine liqueurs, gin and other spirits, preserving traditional recipes and methods recorded in the so-called Book of Ancient Recipes.

Production philosophy

To safeguard artisanal tradition and the connection with the Alpine territory: use of wild and medicinal botanicals hand-collected, respect for seasonality and selection of high-quality raw materials to enhance the aromatic heritage of the Alps.

Territory

Piedmont, Province of Cuneo; Occitan Valleys and Piedmontese alpine areas, the territory where the wild botanicals used in the recipes are collected.
