BrewDog Distilling
BrewDog Distilling (also known as BrewDog Distilling Co. and originally LoneWolf) is the spirits division of the BrewDog group, based at BrewDog's production complex in Ellon, Aberdeenshire (Scotland). It is best known for LoneWolf gin and for producing its own base spirit (ABSTRAKT Vodka).

The story
Born as the spirits arm connected to BrewDog and initially known as LoneWolf, the production facility was established within BrewDog's Ellon complex (Aberdeenshire) in the mid-to-late 2010s. The brand launched the LoneWolf range (gin and various flavored expressions) and other spirits such as ABSTRAKT Vodka and Duo Rum. In January 2026 BrewDog announced the cessation of production by its distilling division; the news was reported by industry sources.
Production philosophy
A taste- and experimentation-focused approach: BrewDog Distilling states it prioritises bold flavours and quality, producing its own base spirit in-house to retain control over the organoleptic profile. The producer's communications also highlight sustainability goals (the distillery is claimed to be carbon-negative in their statements).
Territory
Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland (United Kingdom)
Production method
Small-batch production; LoneWolf gin is made from a base distillate produced in-house (ABSTRAKT Vodka). Distillation takes place in copper stills (a copper-pot 'triple bubble' still is mentioned) at the Ellon facility.
Distillation
