Producer history Cinzano
The Cinzano brand originated in Turin in 1757, when brothers Carlo Stefano and Giovanni Giacomo Cinzano opened an herbalist's shop that evolved into the production of vermouth and wines. Over the following centuries the range expanded and the brand gained international presence; ownership passed through various industrial groups and later into the portfolios of major beverage companies. In June 2025 the divestment of the vermouth and sparkling-wine business from Davide Campari‑Milano to Gruppo Caffo 1915 was announced, with closing expected by the end of 2025.
Production philosophy
To highlight Turin's vermouth tradition while offering products suitable both for classic consumption and contemporary mixology; the brand emphasizes its historical heritage and Italian identity in communications.
Territory
Piedmont origin (Turin); a historic brand linked to the Piedmont region but with international production and markets.
