Immortelle are planted and hand-harvested in the north of Île d'Oléron; the fresh botanicals are then valorizied through artisanal distillation in Charente-Maritime. Producer history Melifera

The Melifera project was born from the idea of Christophe Amigorena and partners at the end of 2019; the brand was developed around the cultivation of immortelle on Île d'Oléron and the collaboration with a Charentais master distiller. The commercial launch took place during the COVID period and the range was later expanded with themed editions (e.g. Edizione Corsa).

Production philosophy

Commitment to biodiversity and organic farming practices: Melifera cultivates and hand-harvests immortelle in its 'Jardin Melifera', favors local supply chains, sustainability and the protection of the local black bee; products are Ecocert certified.
