Production method
Nation is generally not the producer in the strict sense but an independent bottler/selector: it purchases distillates from various distilleries, carries out maturation locally in tropical climates and subsequent finishing in Europe; it uses solera or blending for some releases and applies finishes in sherry/PX or other casks according to the concept of each bottle.

Ageing

Producer history Nation
The activity known as Rum Nation was born in the late 1990s from the Rossi family's experience in the wine and spirits trade. Fabio Rossi launched the rum line in 1999, buying and selecting vintage barrels and developing a collection of single origin, blends and rare single cask releases. Over time the project evolved as a branch of Rossi & Rossi, combining European bottling and finishing activities with a selection of distillates sourced from various producing countries.

Select characteristic rums by origin, enhance their qualities through carefully calibrated finishing and offer bottles that reflect the style of their countries of origin. Favours approaches based on double maturation (tropical / Europe), the use of selected casks for finishes and the promotion of limited editions and single cask releases.
