Production method

Gin distilled using artisanal techniques that include infusions and distillations of botanicals; the project was developed in collaboration with specialized distilleries and presented in editions that combine local botanicals with geographically sourced ingredients (e.g. Korean salt, Murray River salt, Namibian salt). The use of grain alcohol and fresh aromatic plants processed rapidly is indicated.

Producer history Primo

The Primo range originated from the idea of Federico Lugaresi, initially developed for his venue (Osteria Cenè) in Cesena. The Gin Primo project was refined between 2015 and 2016 and later evolved into the establishment of the commercial company Premiata Officina Lugaresi, which distributes the line and its thematic variants.

Production philosophy

Strong territorial roots and use of natural ingredients: Primo highlights local botanicals (for the base version) and sea salt as a distinctive 'botanical'. The labels emphasize craftsmanship, ingredient transparency and products free from colorants and preservatives.
