Producer history Remy Cointreau

The group's origins trace back to the historic Maisons: Rémy Martin (founded 1724) and Cointreau (founded in the 19th century). The activities of the two families drew closer at the end of the 20th century; the Rémy Cointreau name was adopted in the early 1990s. The Passoã brand was created in the 1980s and, in 2016, a joint venture was established for Passoã activities with Rémy Cointreau involved in the partnership.
