The story
The product historically known as Stolichnaya has its origins in the Soviet area and is often traced back to the first half of the 20th century. Over the years ownership and trademark rights have been subject to international legal disputes. Since 2000 the version intended for foreign markets has been produced and bottled by Stoli Group/SPI Group in Riga (Latvia). In March 2022 the company announced the official rebranding of the brand to Stoli to distance it from association with Russia and to reflect its Latvian roots and production.

Focused on quality and responsibility: Stoli Group states its aim to build an ultra-premium portfolio, emphasizing transparency, inclusivity and sustainability. The brand has adopted initiatives to politically and culturally differentiate itself from the Russian context and to support social causes.

Production method
Distilled from cereals; for international expressions blending, filtration and bottling are carried out in Riga at local facilities. Multistage filtration is used (birch-activated charcoal, quartz/quartz sand) and, for some premium expressions, chill/freeze-filtration.
