Tenuta Col d'Orcia

Tenuta Col d'Orcia, set in the Montalcino areas, to be exact Collina di Sant'Angelo overlooking the Orcia river, has vines happily exposed at noon, with perfect sunshine throughout the day; an excellent prelude.

When it comes to Brunello, Tenuta Col d'Orcia answers: the only reference word is "tradition". Even today their wines are aged exclusively in Slavonian oak barrels, with finishing in the bottle at a controlled temperature as per obligations, not legal, but moral.

Winery that has never had factional doubts in the struggle between modernist and traditionalist producers. Great respect they bring to the true essence of Sangiovese di Montalcino, great aging potential and long stay in wood.

Since 2010, the whole Estate has adopted totally organic agronomic practices which have led to its certification.
