A historic winery based in Castiglione Falletto (Piedmont), known for its Barolo crus, signature labels and a range of wines from Nebbiolo and Barbera to aromatic varieties such as Moscato and Arneis.
The Vietti winery was founded at the end of the 19th century in Castiglione Falletto; in 1917 Mario Vietti transformed the estate into a business focused on producing quality wines. In the 1950s Alfredo Currado introduced technical and cultural innovations that led to the creation of one of Barolo’s first crus and, in 1967, to the production of Roero Arneis as a single-varietal wine. Since 2016 the property has been owned by the Krause family, who have continued the winery’s development while respecting its identity and historic vineyards.
