Brasserie De Silly brewery

The Brasserie de Silly was born in 1850, and has a brewing art handed down for 6 generations. A brewery with an important variety of beers produced, with an unparalleled quality. Every single beer is produced in an artisanal way, with a carefully selected raw material, namely: pure water, yeasts, hops and high quality malts.

The Brasserie was founded in Silly, by Marcelin Hypolite Mynbrughen, a small and unique village of 8,000 inhabitants, with the river Sylle running through it (hence its name), located in the Ath-Enghien-Soignies triangle. In 1947 the Brasserie also made itself known abroad with top fermentation beers such as Grisette, Saison and Scotch; and a few years later with the production of bottom-fermented Pils beers.

28 years later she bought the Brasserie Tennstedt Decroes in Enghien, which allowed her to continue with her range of beers, adding the Double Enghien. A little further on, the Blanche de Silly, the Saison de Silly and the Divine were born. The Brasserie de Silly has grown exponentially in recent years. The artisanal brewing method is the same used in 1850.
