Corte Manzini Winery

Corte Manzini is a large family-run company, founded in Ca 'di Sola di Castelvetro (MO), in 1978 by the brothers Manzini, Ruggero, Giordano, Lorenzo and Lodovico. The estate covers over 25 hectares, 10 of which are in the hills, and traditionally are planted with vineyards.

The grapes used for the production of the wines of the cellar come exclusively from the property, and are carefully followed during all phases. Pruning is done manually, by people with the utmost experience, and with a lot of respect for the territory, this allows a controlled harvest with healthy grapes.

A large patriarchal family, where each component has its specific role, so the Manzini take care of the entire supply chain. The harvest is done manually, and the carefully selected grapes give a low yield per hectare. Particular attention is given to the vinification, which is a very delicate phase in the cellar, and to the fermentation with the Charmat method followed by the oenologist Stefano.

The wines produced are treated in detail and have received great awards, in Italian and foreign guides, and in wine competitions, with gold and silver medals. With their passion and dedication they have managed to bring Lambrusco to the highest levels, and to place it among the most prestigious wines.
