Marcalberto Winery

Small family-run winery, specializing in the production of bubbles, in particular sparkling wines with the classic method. It was founded in 1993 by the oenologist Piero Cane who put his small production on the market starting from 1996. Thus a young winery was born which is then dedicated to his sons Marco and Alberto from whom it takes its name. The bubbles produced therefore originate from vineyards cultivated with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The production site is enclosed in a small village in a historic 19th century house, built with stone and tuff, and represents the ideal place for refining wines on bottled yeasts. The house has preferred, compared to many other wineries, to maintain the purity of the wines and vineyards as much as possible, in fact, for example, all the sparkling wine bases are naturally clarified by static decantation, without filtration or clarification. Thus elegant, fresh and fruity sparkling wines are produced, characterized by excellent drinkability.
