Winery history Cusumano

Founded as a modern venture by brothers Diego and Alberto Cusumano in the early 2000s, the company grew by expanding its vineyards and estates across several areas of Sicily and launched the Alta Mora project dedicated to Etna wines in 2013. Over the years the winery has progressively developed single-varietal and regional lines, earning international recognition.

Production philosophy

Focus on terroir, attention to indigenous grape varieties and quality-oriented production practices. The winery combines modern technology with careful study of the land and experimentation in the vineyard; in recent years it has also announced commitments to sustainable practices and environmental certifications for some labels.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards and estates spread across several areas of Sicily: Ficuzza, San Giacomo, Presti e Pegni and Monte Pietroso, and the San Carlo estate in Partinico. In parallel, the Alta Mora project has been developed on the slopes of Etna.

Awards and recognitions

Cusumano wines have received numerous awards and scores from international and national publications and guides, earning high marks for several vintages.
