The Boiolo Barolo DOCG from Ballarin displays a character of great intensity and finesse typical of the appellation. On the nose it opens with notes of dried rose, ripe cherry and light earthy hints, accompanied by delicate spices and a touch of liquorice; it is never overloaded, but rather taut and uplifted. The structure is solid, with firm tannins well integrated into the acidity, which support the palate without weighing it down, providing long persistence and a sense of refined depth.

On the palate it reveals a balance between body and freshness: red fruit returns, supported by spicy echoes and a slight sapidity that invites further sips. It is a wine that asks for time and air to express itself at its best; it pairs naturally with stewed or braised red meats, pot roasts and aged cheeses, but also stands up well to mushroom-based dishes and game. It is particularly recommended to open in advance or decant, and to serve with structured dishes without excess.

Winery history
The estate stems from the family's historic agricultural activity, with documented roots dating back to 1928.
