The G'Vine Floraison Gin is a French distillate of great refinement, known for its uniqueness and distinctive aromaticity. This gin reveals a perfect fusion between traditional gin distillation techniques and French winemaking creativity. Produced in the Cognac region, G'Vine Floraison is made with grape alcohol, instead of the traditional grains, offering a softer and more velvety base.
One of the special features of G'Vine is the use of the grape flower, harvested only for a few days in June, which makes this gin incredibly exclusive. These fresh flowers are macerated and then distilled along with other selected botanicals, such as cardamom, coriander, cubeb, and ginger, which impart a complex and vibrant aromatic profile to the distillate.
On the palate, G'Vine Floraison is distinguished by its delicate floral notes, which blend harmoniously with hints of lime and mint, leading to a long, sweetly spiced finish. This gin is often enjoyed neat, to fully savor its unique qualities, but it also lends itself beautifully to the preparation of sophisticated and refined cocktails.
Ideal for gin lovers seeking a premium product that breaks with tradition, G'Vine Floraison Gin is a choice of style, bringing a touch of innovation and French elegance to the world of gin.

The story
G'Vine was conceived by Jean-Sébastien Robicquet and launched in 2006 within Maison Villevert, a producer group based in Villevert (Merpins) in the Cognac area. The project leveraged local viticultural and distilling expertise to create a 'gin de France' based on grape eau-de-vie and the use of the vine blossom as a distinctive botanical. Over the years the range expanded to include bartending-oriented variants, a line of flavored liqueurs (June) and reserve editions matured in Cognac casks.
Distillation
Separate maceration of botanical families in grape alcohol, individual distillation of aromatic distillates and blending; infusion of the vine blossom in eau-de-vie and final double distillation of the assembled wash in the 'Lily-Fleur' still (the blossom also passes through a Florentine 'Flo' still).
Ageing
Generally gins are not aged; however there are special expressions (e.g. Nouaison Réserve) that undergo finishing in Cognac casks.
