The story
The company was founded in the early 1970s by Gioacchino Nannoni; the official foundation year is often cited as 1973. Nannoni was among the first to valorise the pomace of Brunello di Montalcino, originating the so‑called "grappa di fattoria". Technical management later passed to master distiller Priscilla Occhipinti, who consolidated the artisanal production and product lines.
Distillation
Discontinuous pot still distillation in copper steam heated stills with low‑degree columns, with manual head and tail cuts; processing of fresh pomace mainly during the harvest period.
Ageing
For "Riserva" labels, ageing in small barrels (approximately 225-litre casks) stored in monitored warehouses; some products have documented ageing (e.g. minimum wood rest indicators).
