The Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC Primevo from Az. Agricola Villa di Corlo is born in the heart of Emilia, among the gentle hills characterizing the foothill area of Modena. Produced exclusively with Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes, this wine expresses the very essence of the territory thanks to careful vinification that preserves freshness and aromas. The short and controlled aging in steel enhances the typical lively sparkle, maintaining intact notes of small red fruits, such as strawberry and cherry, accompanied by light floral hints and a well-balanced acidic excursion.

On the palate, it presents itself slender, vibrant, and harmonious, with a balance that invites sipping and a delicate persistence. It is ideal to accompany typical Emilian cold cuts, first courses based on ragù, or fresh cheeses, but also for convivial and carefree moments where joy takes center stage. A Lambrusco that elegantly tells the richness of local tradition.

Winery history
Villa di Corlo began as an agricultural estate producing wines and, thanks to a balsamic vinegar facility located in the attics of the historic villa, also produces Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. The company website states that the estate was founded in 1998 and that it remains family-run. Over time the estate has expanded its range, focusing on locally sourced Lambrusco and red wines and emphasising the direct production of its grapes.
Production philosophy
The winery states a philosophy that combines respect for tradition with a commitment to innovation: exclusive use of grapes grown on the estate, modern technologies for the winemaking of sparkling wines, and a focus on environmental sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Baggiovara, the vineyards are located on soils typical of the area, including clayey soils at the foot of the hills. Some vineyards are on hills at around 320 metres above sea level; product pages indicate localities such as San Venanzio di Maranello and Viano for specific vineyards.
