The Metodo Classico 60 Mesi di Ada, produced by the acclaimed winery Podere Forte, is an enological excellence that encapsulates the essence of Italian sparkling wine tradition combined with cutting-edge winemaking techniques. Located in the heart of Tuscany, Podere Forte is renowned for its organic philosophy and strict respect for nature, which is reflected in every bottle produced.

This sparkling wine is the result of a meticulous selection of grapes, primarily Chardonnay, which are subjected to a first fermentation after harvest. The base wine obtained then rests for 60 months on the lees, in the bottle, following the rigorous Metodo Classico, which also involves bottle refermentation.

The color is an intense straw yellow with golden reflections, bright and lively thanks to the fine bubbles that create a persistent perlage. On the nose, the Metodo Classico 60 Mesi di Ada expresses a complex and mature bouquet, marked by notes of brioche, honey, white-fleshed fruit, and a slight hint of almond. On the palate, the creaminess of the foam blends with a lively freshness and a structure that denotes perfect balance.

Perfect as an aperitif, this sparkling wine pairs magnificently with fish dishes, shellfish, and medium-aged cheeses. Its complexity and elegance also make it ideal as the centerpiece of a celebratory toast or a special moment.

Every sip of the Metodo Classico 60 Mesi di Ada is a celebration of the time and passion that Podere Forte dedicates to creating its wines, making it a precious addition to any connoisseur’s cellar.

Winery history
Podere Forte was founded as an agricultural project led by Pasquale Forte and developed around the idea of a self-sufficient estate. The estate, operating since 1997, has re-created an integrated farm in the Val d’Orcia where viticulture, olive growing, beekeeping and livestock farming coexist, following organic and biodynamic practices.
Production philosophy
The estate is managed according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, with attention to soil health, production autonomy and the enhancement of local resources. The approach combines traditional techniques with precision tools in a system called "Sistema Forte," aimed at environmental and social sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the Val d’Orcia, a landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the vineyards are planted on soils rich in schist and clay at varying elevations, which favor typical expressions of Sangiovese and Bordeaux-style blends. The estate also has extensive olive groves and large areas of agricultural land.
Awards and recognitions
