Pairing Beef, game birds, semi-aged cheeses
The Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC from Cantina Bozen shows an elegant, restrained profile typical of this variety grown in Alto Adige. In the glass it displays a clear ruby red color; on the nose there are scents of small red fruits, cherry and strawberry, accompanied by floral notes and a subtle spice. The attack is fresh and lively, with fine tannins and a balanced structure that supports the sip without weighing it down. The finish has good persistence, clean and well balanced.

It is a wine suitable for everyday pairings as well as more considered occasions: it pairs well with roasted white meats, mushroom-based dishes, not overly aged cured meats and semi-firm cheeses. Recommended serving temperature around 14–16 °C and a generous glass to promote aromatic expression. It can be enjoyed for its youthful freshness, yet remains pleasant if left to rest a few years in bottle.
