More questions

The Rhum Malteco 15Y Solera Reserva Maya is an exceptional example of rum, aged for fifteen years using the Solera method, a technique that involves adding younger liquids to containers holding more mature liquids to achieve a uniform blend over time. Originating from the heart of Guatemala, a region renowned for producing some of the best rums in the world, this reserve boasts an extraordinary aromatic depth.

On the nose, the Malteco 15Y unveils intense aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of exotic spices, enriched by smoky wood notes that attest to its long rest in oak barrels. On the palate, the taste is remarkably round, with a perfect balance between sweetness and alcoholic intensity, allowing flavors of caramel, ripe fruit, and a slight trace of tobacco to emerge.

Ideal for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or as a base for sophisticated cocktails, the Malteco 15Y Solera Reserva Maya represents an excellent choice for high-quality rum enthusiasts seeking a profound and memorable tasting experience. A true gem from the heart of Central America that promises to enhance any spirits collection.
