More questions

The Rhum Malteco 20Y Solera Reserva Fundador is an exceptional spirit that originates from the heart of Guatemala. Aged using the Solera method for a period of 20 years, this rum is distinguished by its depth and aromatic complexity. The color is intense, with golden reflections that herald the wealth of olfactory sensations.

On the nose, it opens with enveloping notes of vanilla and caramel, enriched by hints of dried fruit and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is smooth yet structured, with an impeccable balance between sweetness and alcoholic warmth that results in a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

  • Production and aging carried out in Panama (Bodegas de America S.A. / Caribbean Spirits Panama Distillery).
  • Declared style: 'Ron al estilo de Guatemala' (Guatemalan influence on the aromatic profile and use of selected cane honey / molasses).
  • Range includes aged reserves (10-25 years) and vintage/millesime selections (e.g. Selección 1987).
  • Blends and recipes developed under the supervision of Maestros Roneros.
