Sarmassa Barolo DOCG from Brezza in magnum format presents a broad, vertical aromatic profile, typical of Nebbiolo: scents of dried rose, ripe cherry and light spicy notes join hints of tobacco and forest floor. The palate is elegant and structured, with tannins that are firmly present yet polished, lively acidity and a balance that supports the progression. The persistence is substantial without being rough, showing a beautiful depth that invites a little aeration.

The magnum bottle is ideal for more stable storage and for convivial occasions in which the wine can develop slowly; serve at around 18°C and open in advance if young. Winery history

The Brezza family has owned vineyards in Barolo since 1885; the company name comes from Giacomo Brezza and the first documented bottling dates to the early 20th century. The business has remained family-run and has developed by preserving the historic cellars while combining tradition with some technological interventions in winemaking.

Production philosophy
