The estate has historical roots that place it among rural properties of Florentine origin. In the 19th century it passed to noble families and, after a period of abandonment, was restored and relaunched under the modern management of the Lottero family beginning in the 1970s. The farm’s history is often associated with the large cedar in the park, a symbol of the property.
Production philosophy

Terroir and vineyards
The estate stands atop the hill of Montefiesole, about 450 metres above sea level and a short distance from Florence. The landscape features vineyards, olive groves and agriturismo facilities, and the park is home to a centuries-old cedar.
