The story
The toponym "Serraglio" is linked to the fortifications of the Gonzaga era that once characterized the area south of Mantua. According to local sources, farmers in the area joined together to establish the Cantina del Serraglio in the early 20th century. The winery is cited as one of the oldest in the province and has since produced mainly Lambrusco mantovano and other local wines.
Production philosophy
The company aims to offer traditional wines from the Mantuan area and typical local products, providing direct sales and a curated selection in its online shop, with an approach focused on affordable pricing and promoting local production.
