The Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG - La Fonte - Pianirossi is an exquisite expression of Sangiovese grown in the wonderful region of Tuscany, specifically in the Montecucco area. Traditionally known for its ability to brilliantly reflect the terroir, this wine represents an excellence of the Pianirossi estate.

With its intense ruby red color, the Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG - La Fonte stands out for its elegance and complexity. On the nose, it opens with notes of cherry, berries, and hints of violet, enriched by light traces of tobacco and spices, a testimony to careful aging in wooden barrels that enhances rather than overwhelms the natural characteristics of the wine.

On the palate, the wine is vigorous yet balanced, with well-presented but soft tannins, promising an excellent aging potential. The well-measured acidity harmoniously blends with the fruit and leads to a long and pleasantly persistent finish, leaving behind a slightly balsamic aftertaste.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, but also pleasantly surprises alongside more structured dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Ideal for a special occasion or to add a touch of refinement to a dinner among wine lovers.

The Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG - La Fonte by Pianirossi is a product that proudly communicates the passion and dedication of the winery for quality viticulture, creating an unbreakable bond between land, vine, and wine.
