The Poggio Belvedere Grechetto IGT by Arnaldo Caprai is a shining example of the versatility of the Grechetto grape, passionately cultivated in the Umbrian lands, a region famous for its characterful white wines. The careful and sustainable work of the Arnaldo Caprai winery materializes in this wine, which enhances not only the terroir but also modern oenological techniques.

After the harvest, the Grechetto grapes undergo an early maceration at controlled temperature, followed by a slow fermentation in stainless steel containers, aimed at preserving the natural aromas and the uniqueness of the variety. The result is a wine with a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, anticipating the freshness that will be found on the palate.

On the nose, Poggio Belvedere Grechetto unfolds a delicate and captivating bouquet of white-fleshed fruits, such as peaches and pears, with a slight nuance of fresh almond and floral hints that integrate harmoniously. On the palate, it is dry, with good acidity and well-balanced minerality which brings vivacity and a pleasant aromatic persistence.

Ideal as an aperitif, this Grechetto is also a versatile companion for various dishes: from fresh seafood salads to light vegetarian dishes, through delicate risottos or steamed fish. Its lightness and freshness also make it suitable to accompany a summer evening on the terrace.

In summary, the Poggio Belvedere Grechetto IGT by Arnaldo Caprai stands out for its balance and freshness, splendidly representing the Umbrian wine tradition and the excellence of the Caprai winery.
