The Sancerre Blanc "Haut de La Poussie" by Baron De Ladoucette is a sublime expression of Sauvignon Blanc, embodying the fusion between an exceptional terroir and high-level winemaking art. This wine, produced in the historic vineyards of Sancerre, in the Loire Valley, represents Baron De Ladoucette's dedication to creating wines that reflect the authenticity and purity of their terroir, with an uninterrupted commitment to excellence.

The "Haut de La Poussie" comes from one of the most renowned parcels of Sancerre, known for its limestone soil and its privileged position which ensures optimal sun exposure. These unique conditions favor the production of superior quality Sauvignon Blanc grapes, characterized by marked minerality and aromatic intensity. Meticulous care in the vineyard and precise winemaking, which includes fermentation at controlled temperatures and aging on fine yeasts, help to enhance the intrinsic qualities of the grape, resulting in a wine of extraordinary elegance and complexity.

Visually, the "Haut de La Poussie" stands out for its straw yellow color with greenish reflections, a prelude to its freshness and liveliness. On the nose, the wine exhibits a rich and varied bouquet, where notes of citrus and white pulp fruit intertwine with floral and mineral nuances, highlighting the typical expression of the Sauvignon Blanc of Sancerre enriched by a distinctive character that only the terroir of " La Poussie" can confer.

In the mouth, the "Haut de La Poussie" reveals a refined texture and a balanced structure, with a lively acidity that supports its aromatic opening and guarantees a long persistence. The flavors of lemon, melon and mineral notes blend in an elegant and persistent finish, with a saline minerality that invites another sip.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with refined fish dishes, seafood, goat cheese and light starters, the Sancerre Blanc "Haut de La Poussie" by Baron De Ladoucette is a wine that celebrates the richness and diversity of Sauvignon Blanc, offering a a tasting experience that is both a reflection on the terroir of Sancerre and an expression of the winemaking art of Baron De Ladoucette.
