This refined rosé comes from the renowned Chateau Henri Bonnaud, located in the picturesque region of Provence, the beating heart of oenology when it comes to superior quality rosé wines. The Palette Rosé Quintessence is composed mainly of Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes, a combination that gives the wine an intriguing structure and remarkable persistence.

The wine presents a pale and delicate pink color in appearance, while on the nose, a complex bouquet of floral notes emerges, accompanied by nuances of small red fruits and a slight touch of spices. On the palate, the wine is balanced, endowed with a lively freshness that perfectly balances the acidity. A subtle minerality concludes with a long and savory finish.

It is recommended to accompany elaborate fish dishes, such as seafood risotto or a mixed seafood grill. Its elegance and complexity also make it perfect as a sophisticated aperitif. Serve chilled, between 8 and 10 degrees, to enhance all its nuances. A high-level rosé that enchants with its sophisticated profile and pleasant versatility.

Winery history
Stéphane Spitzglous, raised in the family that owned the land, produced his first vintage in 2004 and named the estate after his grandfather, Henri Bonnaud. In the 2000s the estate developed a flagship cuvée line, and from the early 2010s began converting to organic farming, a process completed with the first organic vinifications and vintages in the early years of the following decade.
Production philosophy
Respect for the land and protection of biodiversity: organic practices in the vineyard, no use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides, hand-harvesting for certain cuvées and winemaking intended to express the local terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the commune of Le Tholonet, about 6 km southeast of Aix‑en‑Provence, with vineyards facing the Montagne Sainte‑Victoire. The most representative soils are calcareous deposits known as “Langesse”; some parcels lie in a natural amphitheatre that provides a microclimate sheltered from the mistral.
