The Cru Fleurie "Le Reposoir" by Pierre Ferraud & Fils is an exemplification of the finesse and elegance that Beaujolais wines can offer, especially those coming from the Fleurie appellation, one of the most celebrated crus in the region. Known for its granitic soils, Fleurie produces wines that combine aromatic intensity with a light structure and seductive softness, characteristics found exemplary in "Le Reposoir".

This wine is made from carefully selected Gamay grapes, grown in vineyards located on ideal slopes that enjoy perfect sun exposure, ensuring optimal maturation of the grapes. Winemaking is carried out with the aim of preserving the freshness and purity of the fruit, through carbonic maceration which enhances the typical varietal aromas of Gamay, followed by refinement which further refines the structure of the wine without overloading it.

Visually, "Le Reposoir" presents itself with a brilliant ruby red color, with purple hues that reflect its youth and liveliness. On the nose, the wine unfolds a rich and fragrant bouquet, dominated by notes of fresh flowers, such as violet and peony, and by red and black fruits, in particular cherry, raspberry and blueberry, with a light touch of spices that adds complexity .

In the mouth, the olfactory promise materializes in an elegantly fruity sip, with a freshness and softness that make the wine immediately pleasant and accessible. The tannins are fine and well integrated, supporting a medium-light body that culminates in a clean and persistent finish, with an aftertaste that brings back the floral and fruity aromas perceived on the nose.

The Cru Fleurie "Le Reposoir" by Pierre Ferraud & Fils is a wine that invites conviviality and sharing, perfect as an aperitif or paired with delicate dishes such as white meats, baked fish and gourmet salads. Its elegance and drinkability also make it an excellent choice to accompany moments of relaxation and conversation.

With "Le Reposoir", Pierre Ferraud & Fils offers an authentic and fascinating expression of the Fleurie terroir, demonstrating how Gamay, when vinified with care and passion, can produce wines of great charm and tasting pleasure, celebrating diversity and richness of Beaujolais.
