The Merlot Friuli Grave DOC from I Magredi is a red wine that perfectly embodies the expression of the Merlot varietal, well adapted to the vibrant terroir of Friuli. This wine, sourced from the gravelly and mineral-rich banks typical of the Grave area in Friuli, benefits from a unique microclimate characterized by warm days and cool night breezes ideal for grape ripening.
On the nose, Merlot Friuli Grave DOC offers a rich and complex bouquet with accents of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, underscored by delicate hints of vanilla and light spices from the aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is soft and velvety, with a medium structure and well-integrated tannins that provide balance and harmony.
