The Querciantica Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore DOC from the Velenosi winery is a red wine that captures the essence of the Marchigian territory with its deep aromatic expression and harmonious taste. Originating from the hills of Morro d'Alba, renowned for the ideal microclimate that favors agriculture, this wine is produced exclusively with Lacrima grapes, an indigenous variety with a strong personality.

Elegant and intensely fragrant, this wine presents a deep ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose, floral notes of violet and rose are immediately discernible, mixed with hints of ripe red fruits, spices, and a touch of aromatic herbs that add complexity.

On the palate, the Querciantica Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore reveals itself to be a medium-bodied wine, with soft tannins and remarkable freshness, perfectly balancing the intensity of the fruit. Notes of blackberry, cherry, and a light touch of pepper persist in a pleasantly long finish.

Ideal to serve at a temperature between 16-18°C, it is perfect for accompanying traditional dishes of Marchigian cuisine, such as roasted red meats, slow-cooked lamb, or aged cheeses. Dishes based on mushrooms and truffles also pair wonderfully with the structure and flavors of this wine.

With Querciantica Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore DOC, Velenosi has managed to express the full potential of a peculiar grape variety, offering a wine that is a true tribute to the richness and diversity of the Italian wine landscape.
