The Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG by Costa Arènte represents an excellent example of how tradition and quality can merge to create a wine of extraordinary intensity and complexity. This unique wine comes from Valpantena, one of the smallest and most esteemed valleys in the Valpolicella area, renowned for its ability to produce wines with deep aromas and robust structures.

Costa Arènte Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG is the result of a meticulous grape selection process, primarily of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, which are left to dry for several months before vinification. This method, known as "appassimento," concentrates sugars and aromas, giving the wine an impressive richness and density.

Once vinified, the grapes undergo a long maturation period in large wooden barrels, which not only smooths out the tannins but also enriches the wine with vanilla and spicy nuances. The result is an Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG with an intense ruby color, with reflections that turn garnet with aging.

On the nose, Costa Arènte presents a complex bouquet, dominated by notes of dried fruit, such as plums and figs, along with hints of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is velvety, with a perfect balance between acidity and well-integrated tannins, leading to a persistent and aromatically intriguing finish.

This Amarone is perfect for pairing with rich, structured dishes such as braised meats, meat stews, or aged cheeses. It is also a wine that can be enjoyed on its own, meditatively, to fully appreciate its complexity and deep aromatic bouquet. With its aging potential, Costa Arènte Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena can evolve beautifully over the years.
