Il Pinot Nero DOC Luzia di ST. Paolo è un'espressione affascinante di uno dei vitigni più nobili al mondo. Originato nelle fresche e pittoresche colline dell’Alto Adige, questo vino rappresenta il matrimonio perfetto tra clima e terroir, esaltando le caratteristiche uniche del Pinot Nero.

Nel calice, si presenta con una tonalità brillante rosso rubino, che incanta immediatamente l’occhio. Al naso, Luzia sprigiona un bouquet complesso e seducente di piccoli frutti rossi come ciliegie, lamponi e ribes, accompagnati da sottili note speziate di pepe nero e sentori di sottobosco. Questi aromi sono arricchiti da delicate sfumature di vaniglia e tabacco, risultato di un sapiente affinamento in botti di rovere.

In bocca, il Pinot Nero DOC Luzia si distingue per la sua eleganza e finezza. Il palato viene avvolto da una trama vellutata, sorretta da tannini morbidi e ben integrati. La freschezza del vino, combinata con una buona struttura, lo rende estremamente equilibrato e piacevolmente persistente. I sapori di frutti rossi ritornano vigorosi al gusto, seguiti da una lieve nota minerale e una dolcezza sottile che chiude con classe.

Winery history
Originally established as a rural cooperative, the winery has historical roots in the village of St. Pauls. Founded in 1907, it developed from an initial group of local producers and, over time, expanded its network of associated growers to cultivate the vineyards in the surrounding area.
Production philosophy
Enhancing the distinctive character of each cru through careful vineyard management and winemaking practices that seek balance and terroir expression. The winery also embraces values such as sharing, awareness and courage, encapsulated in the inspirational slogan.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in Appiano/St. Pauls in the Überetsch area of South Tyrol, production comes from vineyards situated at approximately 300–700 metres above sea level on a variety of soils, which allow variations in exposure and microclimates.
