The Barolo La Morra DOCG Riserva - Crissante Alessandria is a selection of exceptional quality that testifies to the mastery of the Crissante Alessandria winery in the production of Barolo, one of the winemaking symbols of Piedmont. This wine is the result of a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, an area notoriously capable of offering wines of great elegance and depth thanks to the particular composition of the soil and the optimal exposure of the vineyards.

The Riserva version of the Barolo La Morra by Crissante Alessandria represents the pinnacle of the winery's production, reserved for the best vintages and subject to a longer period of refinement, which includes a passage in wooden barrels of various sizes to enrich the wine further aromatic and gustatory nuances, while maintaining the integrity and purity of the fruit.

Visually, Barolo Riserva stands out for its intense garnet red color, with orange reflections that become accentuated over time. On the nose, it opens with a complex and enveloping olfactory profile, where notes of ripe red fruit blend with hints of withered flowers, tobacco, spices and a light mineral trace, typical of the La Morra terroir.

In the mouth, the Barolo La Morra DOCG Riserva di Crissante Alessandria offers a rich and layered tasting experience, with silky tannins and an excellent structure balanced by a lively acidity that promises long aging potential. The flavors reflect the olfactory complexity, leading towards a long and persistent finish, a sign of a wine of great nobility and character.

Ideal for accompanying dishes with great structure, such as roast meats, truffle-based dishes, game and mature cheeses, Barolo Riserva is also a magnificent meditation wine, which can be appreciated on its own to capture all its nuances.
