The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC Biologico - Marchesi Migliorati is born in the heart of Abruzzo, a land dedicated to viticulture where Montepulciano, the undisputed protagonist, expresses the best of itself. This organic wine stands out for the rigorous cultivation without the use of pesticides; from the vineyard to the cellar, every step respects the naturalness of the territory. The Cerasuolo, with its characteristic intense cherry color, offers a fresh and fragrant bouquet, with aromas that recall cherry, wild strawberries, and an elegant hint of wildflowers.

On the palate, it is lively, with a delicate tannic texture and a balance that enhances the sapidity and freshness typical of the Abruzzo terroir. The aging method is brief, to preserve the aromatic exuberance of the Montepulciano variety. Ideal paired with delicate seafood dishes, Mediterranean appetizers, and simple first courses, it represents a happy meeting between tradition and respect for the environment.

Winery history
Marchesi Migliorati was established as a project to recover and enhance high‑potential vineyards in Abruzzo, often left in the care of owners living abroad. The initiative manages the vineyards and wine production on behalf of local owners, with the aim of restoring vitality and quality to neglected territories.
Production philosophy
The company places environmental sustainability and respect for the territory at its core: cultivation according to organic standards, development of biodynamic practices, and production free of animal-derived additives. It emphasizes limited production and very high quality, with attention to the wellbeing of workers and the supply chain.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the Val di Sangro, on mid‑elevation foothills around 300 m above sea level with southeast exposure. Clayey soils promote controlled ripening and impart a mineral character to the grapes. The area benefits from proximity to the Majella massif and from microclimates influenced by the nearby Adriatic coast.
