The Baron De Ladoucette Magnum Pouilly-Fumé is a grand statement of the quality and elegance that characterizes this renowned Loire Valley producer. This wine, emblematic of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, is celebrated for its refined and intense interpretation of the Sauvignon Blanc grape, offering a masterful demonstration of how terroir, winemaking mastery and care can converge in the creation of an exceptional wine.

The Magnum format, equivalent to two standard 750ml bottles, is not only a sign of festivity and sharing but also contributes to a slower and more harmonious maturation of the wine, potentially enriching its complexity and longevity. In this context, Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé stands out not only for the intrinsic quality of the wine but also for the visual impression and shared experience that a Magnum can offer, making it perfect for special occasions.

Coming from the lush banks of the Loire, the Pouilly-Fumé terroir is known for its calcareous and silica-rich soil, which gives the Sauvignon Blanc a marked minerality and a characteristic aromatic profile. Baron De Ladoucette, with a tireless commitment to excellence and precision, carefully curates every phase of the winemaking process, from grape selection to vinification and refinement, to ensure that each bottle reflects the purest and most distinct expression of Sauvignon Blanc.

Visually, the Pouilly-Fumé Magnum presents itself with a bright straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that anticipate its freshness. On the nose, the wine explodes with a complex and seductive bouquet: notes of citrus, white pulp fruit, floral and vegetal accents, together with that distinctive "smoky" mineral note, which evokes sensations of wet stone and undergrowth.

In the mouth, the wine reveals an elegant and balanced structure, with a lively acidity that supports a range of flavors that echo the olfactory sensations. Notes of lemon, green apple and melon intertwine with mineral nuances and a long and persistent finish, which leaves a sensation of cleanliness and renewed freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, from grilled seafood and fish to fresh goat cheese and salads, Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé Magnum is an excellent choice for celebrating shared moments, offering a tasting experience which is as memorable as the wine itself.

Through the Magnum format of his Pouilly-Fumé, Baron De Ladoucette underlines the link between tradition and sharing, offering a wine that is testimony to the richness of the Loire terroir and the craftsmanship in the production of one of the best examples of Sauvignon Blanc in the world .

Winery history
The company's roots date back to the Comte Lafond family, who at the end of the 18th century acquired the vineyards of Château du Nozet in Pouilly. The estate is now owned by the de Ladoucette family, and under the leadership of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette it has expanded to include vineyards and labels in the Sancerre area.
