The Shalok Granaccia DOC from Poggio dei Gorleri winery is a red wine that represents the pure expression of the Granaccia grape variety, traditionally grown in the picturesque area of the Gulf of Diano in Liguria. This wine stands out for its unique character, a result of the microclimate and the typical clay-limestone soil of the region.

Visually, the Shalok Granaccia displays an intense ruby red color with hints of purple shades that catch the eye. On the nose, the bouquet is complex and inviting with predominant notes of ripe fruit such as plums and cherries, enriched by spicy nuances and a light woody touch, resulting from aging in wood.

On the palate, the wine shows a robust but balanced structure, thanks to a tannin presence that is firm yet soft, which harmoniously integrates with a refreshing acidity. The flavors of dark fruit are reintroduced accompanied by an elegant mineral and spicy vein, leading to a persistent and pleasantly warm finish, typical of the Granaccia variety.

Ideal for pairing with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, Shalok Granaccia DOC from Poggio dei Gorleri is also perfect as a contemplative wine. It is recommended to be served at a temperature of 18°C to enhance all its organoleptic qualities.

An exceptional example of how the Ligurian winemaking tradition can be expressed through the passion, experience, and respect for the territory by the Poggio dei Gorleri winery. This wine not only speaks of its origin but tells a story in every sip.
