The Lugana DOC of Cà dei Frati is a white wine that embodies the elegance of the Lugana territory, located between the shores of Lake Garda and the gentle hills of Southern Lombardy. Obtained from the Turbiana grape variety, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, this wine is presented in Magnum format, ideal for sharing moments and optimal storage. The vinification is carried out with care, favoring an aging process that enhances the fresh and mineral characteristics of the grape variety, maintaining a perfect balance between roundness and acidity.

In the glass, it stands out for a bright straw-yellow color and intense aromas of white flowers, green apple, and almond notes that develop into a delicate minerality. On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious, and persistent, with a structure that invites prolonged tasting. A perfect companion for dishes based on fish, shellfish, or delicate risottos, the Lugana of Cà dei Frati best expresses its territorial identity in every sip.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
