The Chardonnay Cuvée Bois Valle d'Aosta PDO by Les Crêtes is a masterful demonstration of how an international grape variety can express itself with a unique character when it meets the particular terroir and microclimate of the Aosta Valley. This wine is the result of the experience and passion of Les Crêtes, a winery that has been able to stand out for its ability to blend tradition and innovation, creating wines of exceptional quality that tell the story and peculiarities of their place of origin.

The Cuvée Bois is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes selected from the best vineyards of the winery, located in highly suitable positions in the region. The winemaking takes place with great care, and the wine ages in oak barriques, a practice that enriches the aromatic complexity and structure of the wine, without ever overpowering the fresh expressiveness of the fruit.

Visually, the Chardonnay Cuvée Bois presents itself with an intense golden yellow color, which anticipates its richness and intensity. On the nose, the wine reveals a wide range of aromas: notes of ripe yellow pulp fruit, such as peach and melon, intertwine with nuances of vanilla, butter and delicate toasting, testifying to the elegant integration of wood.

In the mouth, the Chardonnay Cuvée Bois impresses with its structure and depth. The balance between lively acidity and rich body is masterful, leading to a palate of great harmony where ripe fruit flavors and spicy, toasted accents blend into a long, lingering finish. The subtle minerality, characteristic of the Alpine terroir, adds a further level of complexity, making the wine even more intriguing.

This Chardonnay is an ideal companion for rich and structured dishes, such as risottos with porcini mushrooms, fish dishes in creamy sauces or roasted poultry. It is also a wine that can be appreciated on its own, as a moment of meditation, to explore and appreciate its complexity and evolution in the glass.

The Cuvée Bois of Les Crêtes represents an excellent example of how the local interpretation of a global grape variety can lead to extraordinary wine creations, which express the essence of a territory with elegance and strength. With its distinctive character and high quality, it confirms itself as one of the flagship wines of the Aosta Valley, celebrating the richness and diversity of the region.
