This wine has an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections that highlight its maturity. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle accents of sweet spices, tobacco and vanilla, which give depth and complexity to the aromatic profile.

Winery history

The winery was founded by Francesco Paolo Avallone in the 1960s with the aim of bringing the legendary Falerno del Massico back to life. Management passed to the next generation of the family, who expanded the project by extending vineyards and production across the hills of the Massico, the Sannio and Irpinia.

Production philosophy

An approach that combines historical roots and research: quality, sustainability and respect for the land guide viticultural and winemaking choices. The focus is on expressing the terroir, avoiding standardized production and experimenting with both modern techniques and traditional aging.

Terroir and vineyards
