The Origjinal Rosso IGT Venezia Giulia, produced by the renowned Lis Neris winery, is a prime example that captures the essence and complexity of the terroir of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This red wine results from a meticulous selection of grapes, harvested at their optimal ripeness to ensure superior quality.

Lis Neris winery, located in the heart of the renowned wine production area of San Lorenzo Isontino, is famous for its innovative approach and respect for local traditions. The Origjinal Rosso blend predominantly uses Merlot grapes, with additions of other native varieties that contribute to its uniqueness. Fermentation and maturation occur in oak barrels, where the wine remains for at least 12 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle.

Visually, the wine presents a deep red color with ruby highlights. On the nose, it offers a complex and alluring bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a slight touch of vanilla and chocolate, deriving from the wood aging process. On the palate, Origjinal Rosso is robust yet balanced; well-structured tannins and a pleasant acidity marry with a velvety texture that envelops the palate, ending in a long and persistent finish.

Ideal as an accompaniment to rich meat dishes, such as braised beef or grilled meats, this wine is also an excellent companion for tasting evenings. Its structure and complexity make it perfect for a special evening or as a gift for enthusiasts of high-quality Italian wines.

The Origjinal Rosso IGT Venezia Giulia by Lis Neris represents an authentic expression of Friulian wine, ideal for those seeking character and elegance in a red wine.
