The Rosso di Orma from Tenuta Sette Ponti is a refined expression of the Tuscan terroir in the form of an IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica). Skillfully crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc varietals, this wine is a tribute to the richness and diversity of the region.

Located in the heart of Tuscany, amidst the rolling hills and historic vineyards, Tenuta Sette Ponti employs sustainable viticulture techniques to preserve the integrity of the land and ensure the quality of the grapes. The Mediterranean climate, characterized by hot summers and mild winters, favors excellent grape maturation, which is reflected in the wine's complex and intensely fruity notes.

In a glass of Rosso di Orma, the color is a deep ruby red, a prelude to a rich bouquet of aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a subtle hint of aromatic herbs and earthy minerals. On the palate, the wine is richly layered, displaying an impeccable balance between lively acidity, soft tannins, and a full body. Notes of cassis, plum, and chocolate blend with delicate touches of vanilla and toasting from aging in French oak barrels.

This wine is perfect to accompany red meat dishes, such as Florentine steak or braised meats, as well as aged cheeses. It is also an excellent conversation companion for special evenings, capable of evolving beautifully in the glass.

Serve at a temperature of about 18°C to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity. It is advisable to decant the wine at least an hour before serving to allow the aromas to express themselves best.

Tenuta Sette Ponti – Winery in Toscana

Discover the story and wines of Tenuta Sette Ponti.

Tuscan winery located in Castiglion Fibocchi (Valdarno di Sopra, Arezzo), known for high-quality wines such as Oreno (Bordeaux blend) and Crognolo (Sangiovese-based).
Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese
Oreno: flagship label, first vintage 1999; a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties planted on the estate at the direction of Antonio Moretti Cuseri. Crognolo: first released in 1998, an expression of the estate's Sangiovese. Vigna dell'Impero: a historic vineyard planted in 1935, vinified as a single-varietal and used for a cru of the estate. Vineyards managed under organic farming. Located at Via Sette Ponti 71, 52029 Castiglion Fibocchi.
Winery history
The estate is associated with the Moretti Cuseri family: the modern foundations of its winemaking activity were established in the 20th century with historic vineyards, including the 'Vigna dell’Impero' planted in 1935. In the 1990s the estate began producing its own wines with its first labels, and in recent years management has passed to the family's third generation. The name refers to the via dei sette ponti that links the banks of the Arno between Florence and Arezzo.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of quality and elegance, with a focus on respect for the land and agronomic practices: the vineyards are managed organically, as stated by the estate. The approach combines Tuscan tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
